What are the ground rules at the family group conference?
The facilitator will explain at the start of the meeting what the expectations are
for people who are attending. The facilitator will talk with you before the
family group conference about what you think is important to include, but the
group agreement will focus on things like having the focus of the conversation
about the child/ren, talking about the future and not the past, not blaming,
and speaking respectfully and listening to each other. This is to ensure that
the family group conference runs smoothly and that all participants agree how
they will interact before the meeting starts.
